Manufacturing companies must demonstrate compliance with the good manufacturing practices (GMP) in the PIF.<\/p>\n

GMP compliance should be in accordance with relevant harmonized standards, the references of which have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union.<\/p>\n

One internationally recognized GMP standard specific for cosmetics is ISO 22716:2007. Certification provided by third parties to prove compliance to GMP can be used and is preferred but is not a requirement.<\/p>\n
